Planning a wedding is A LOT of work!  Every detail requires thought, consideration and time.  Choosing your bridal party… locating the perfect ceremony location and reception venue… contemplating a color scheme or theme… discovering “the” gown… designing the ideal invitation… the list goes on and on.  And just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, “Bam!” … you remember you still need to choose gifts for your attendants!

If you use Facebook, you might have been invited to a moncler jacket Day Giveaway Event. According to the page, 1,800moncler are slightly damaged, and thus unable to be sold, so they're being given away on Facebook today. Unfortunately, this offer is a scam.

If you accept an invitation to the event, the application will send invitations to all your friends without permission. Your email address, which you need to enter to register for the "giveaway" will be used to contact you for marketing purposesmoncler coats. And you'll be asked to sign up for a number of "special offers," and we all know what that means.

If you added the application to your account, follow Facebook's Instructions to remove or delete an application from your account. There are also instructions about how to block an application that can help you avoid accidentally signing up for the scam.

"I Want Candy": The Candy Buffet Trend

I Want Candy

Candy buffets are one of the hottest trends in weddings and events today.  A tower of sweets evokes a whimsical “kid-in-a-candy-store” feeling, whatever your age.  Harken back to your childhood and recall playing Candyland, where one can become lost in a candy cane forest or stuck in the molasses swamp… remember the first time you watched “Willy Wonka,” when you fantasized about being surrounded by sweet, edible deliciousness.  Aside from adding a fun, fantastical element and fairytale flavor to your event, they are a great way to thank your guests for attending, in lieu of pre-packaged favors.  They are beautiful, colorful and fun.

Like most people nowadays, you’re doing your best to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle than you once did.  You choose reusable shopping bags, carry an aluminum thermos rather than buying bottled water, and are the first one on your block to proudly display your accumulation of recyclables on the curb every other week.  But the idea of having a green wedding can be a bit daunting.  Planning a wedding is a lot of work, and the pressure to make environmentally-responsible choices might not be foremost in your mind.  But the truth is, it’s not an all-or-nothing proposition, and eco-friendly choices are available at every turn.  Here are some ideas to consider.

Now that it’s August and we suddenly find ourselves bombarded with countless television back-to-school ads, my autumn-themed wedding of nearly eight years ago seems to be fresh in my memory again.  There was a reason my fiance and I chose the fall for our event… in our combined opinion, there is no season more romantic than autumn.  The crisp, dry New England days evoke memories of hayrides and apple-picking, and the chilly nights are perfect for cuddling under a quilt or by the fire with mugs of mulled wine.  I even love the scent that hangs in the air… a combination of the sweet-smelling fallen leaves and the wood-burning stoves that come out of retirement at this time of year.  It was a no-brainer that we would choose this season.

If you don't generally wear makeup but want to look polished on that special day without breaking the bank...

By simply using neutral colors, choose a base that is just a bit lighter than your skin tone and apply all over. Next you want to contour your lid by using a deeper shade in the same color family to darken your crease.
Apply eyeliner as close to the lashline as possible. Be sure its waterproof! Apply two coats of waterproof mascara to add drama for neutral eyes.
You can also get away with a bold lip with this eye makeup.

Wedding Photography: Be Aware of the Guy with a Camera

Posted by: Wedding Support

Tagged in: Untagged

Your wedding photographer should be someone you admire the work of as well as trust and feel comfortable working with. However, a lot of times this is easier said than done. There are many people out there that pose as professional photographers but are really what most people call “a guy with a camera”. This basically means they have no professional experience, do it in their free time and do not provide the level of service that weddings require.

If you are a bride to be and looking for accessories that really stand out, there are a few things to consider. First, you need to know the theme of your wedding. There is no use to picking out accessories for your wedding outfit, dress or decor if you are not sure what you are looking for. The same goes for other accessories such as candles, decorations, ring pillows, aisle runners, guest books and more.
