Wedding CD Prices 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have been looking at wedding CD prices and they seem to all be sticking around $24.99. We figured this is a money saver instead of getting live entertainment at the reception. I did notice that some wedding CD's were high at about $50.00. They only include like 3 different songs on them. Why are they so much more if there are only a few more songs?

I also saw you can download the music from the computer and burn it on a CD for a little less money on most sites. There is also an option to create your own CD or only pick a few tracks for about $1.00-$1.50 per song. After looking into the options, this is the way we are going to go. <3 Tracey

I personally do not like the CD idea. I mean, think about it. You can have a CD any time you want. How many times in your life are you going to have live entertainment? I can only think of very special occasions in my group of friends and family that I have ever experienced live entertainment. Guess what? They were mostly at weddings. It is really something people expect. Live entertainment really does add a whole other level of excitement and regal to the wedding. Any one can throw in a CD and let it play. Plus, if you are looking to do the CD thing, I am sure between your friends and family, you will be able to find a good mix of songs you want without paying a penny. Just my two cents- Good luck to everyone!

I totally agree! I would so much rather live entertainment. It really is one area that you do not want to skimp on. If you have to save money, flowers is a very good place to do so. In actuality, you can count on flowers being pretty- no matter what kind they are. You can get an inexpensive flower selection and save a ton. As far as a CD instead of live entertainment- I wouldn't do it. If you want to get the CD in addition to live entertainment or for separate areas, that is OK.

Yes definitely. Other may download it right at your doorstep. Like in my case, we are 1000miles apart from the CD distributor. But of course having it is much pretty cool.

Good stuff anyway.
