If you want a quiet start to your honeymoon, you can always depart after the wedding reception. Make sure things are all in line so you can relax. This includes food, travel accommodations, etc. After your wedding and wedding reception, you will be very tired and will need time to unwind. Make sure your destination is expecting and waiting for you. In these cases, it is best to let a parent or close friend follow up on the details for you. 

Some people just choose to stop entertainment and other treats after the official reception is over and keep just the bar open. In this case, you do not have to worry about travel arrangements to another place. Just make sure you have rides home lined up as well as late night food for those who stay.
